Doğan Cüceloğlu was born in Silifke, Mersin, 1938. After he graduated from Psychology in Istanbul University, he did his Phd in Cognitive Psychology (in the field of perception,thinking and communication) at Illinois University, the USA.
Graduated from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Education. He completed his master's degree at Harvard University, Faculty of Education with the scholarship of Fulbright and Turkish Education Foundation.
